I personally have the 1993 edition of the book, which is an excellent book to learn about PF, however it is technical. Much has changed since the 1993 edition regarding PF. For the most current up to date version, I would highly recommend the 2003 edition. The new edition is more up to date with current advancements and the accepted definition of IPF. It should be available now or very soon (in hard cover and I believe it again comes with a companion disc.)
